Sharing the gospel best happens in an open, trusting relationship, using language relevant to the context and needs of the person with whom you are sharing. In the paradigm for the ministry of Christ from The Ministry of Healing page 143, the fifth and last step is an invitation. After mingling with people, after demonstrating compassion for them, after meeting their needs, after winning their trust, then Jesus said, “Follow me.”
